Audra Macri

I am a Website Developer and Media Producer. I have worked in higher education for over seven years in development, debugging, website accessibility, user interface design, testing and launching web-based projects. I also have experience in providing assistance and training staff as well as overseeing projects in order to meet deadlines. I pride myself on being a well-rounded professional who is always eager to learn the latest techniques and methods in my field. I view every hurdle in life not as a challenge but as a chance to test my skills and abilities, learn something new and develop my character.

Website Specialist

June 2015 - present
Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Baltimore, MD

  • Assist in the planning, production and launch of several high profile websites including the Bloomberg American Health Initiative, Hopkins Bloomberg Magazine triannually, and the 2016 Centennial.
  • Team lead on establishing a Content Management System (CMS) users workshop to provide in-person guidance and demonstrations to all website editors. Conducted user surveys, developed curriculum, created a communication plan and lead instructions for each workshop.
  • Work directly with internal clients and outside vendors to develop websites that meet the needs of the school. Review all projects and provide feedback to ensure standards are met before launch.
  • Ensure overall quality and consistency of the School's brand. Implement cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility using BrowserStack and adhering to Section 508 guidelines.
  • Write documentation of website modules, basic website development skills, and frequently asked questions for the CMS User's Knowledge base.
  • Assist in the selection of a new CMS to be implemented schoolwide. Conducted a CMS audit by interviewing internal users, researching systems and working with an external vendor to provide suggestions and solutions.

Web Services Specialist

September 2013 – May 2015
Wheeling Jesuit University, Wheeling, WV

  • Played a key role in the redesign of the Wheeling Jesuit University website by working with the Web Services team to implement designs, develop interactive components, apply 508 compliance guidelines, transfer content and launch according to schedule.
  • Hired, scheduled, trained and oversaw a team of student interns who completed daily tasks and projects for the Web Services team.
  • Team lead in the planning, production, and launch of several projects including the Mount de Chantal Virtual Tour, the interactive Admissions Map and the Cristo Rey Summer Academy website.
  • Assisted in providing media coverage of campus events including pre-production and post-production of all photography, digital signage, and video components. Worked with outside vendors to live webcast campus events including the NCAA Regional Volleyball Tournaments.
  • Maintained social media accounts, monitored access and reported issues.

Web Services Consultant

  • Worked directly with the Human Resources Department to create and develop the University Compliance Website, which included an interactive organizational chart.
  • Wrote documentation guide and provided training for staff.
  • Completed additional duties as assigned including basic website updates, website interface research, and documentation of the website.

  • Basic content updates on the Wheeling Jesuit University website.
  • Researched, created and developed a 360 degree Interactive Campus Virtual Tour.
  • Assisted in the research and develop the Wheeling Jesuit University website which receive a top 25 higher education website ranking in 2010 by the National Research Center for University & College Admissions.
